Just saw the midwife; she thinks it'll be next week or weekend, but definitely not this one.
Figures. I hope she's wrong.
So, an informal poll: of the parents who read this blog, how many of you (or your spouses) went to 41 or 42 weeks?

This is your cousin, I was 10 days over due and if they had not induced me due to his size, i probably would not have been induced until 13 days over. By the way are you sure there is not a 2nd baby in there :)?????
Well, your midwife predicted quite a while ago that birth might not occur until October 5th or 12th. Your mom was born on the day of Yom Kippur which this year falls on October 9th. Who knows? Maybe you will follow her lead. Wiggly will decide when he's ready...so, c'mon, Wiggly; we're all ready for you!!!!
Yer Savta
I'm pretty sure my mom went 10 days over with my brother. He was due in sweltering July but didn't arrive until August. My mom was pretty miserable.
Keira had threatened to come early, but as soon as week 36 came she didn't want to come out! We thought we were going to have to induce, but she had other plans and came on her own by the middle of week 40.
Just be mindful of the early signs of pre labor and don't just shrugg your sholders thinking it's a false alarm, or you may end up having Alex in the middle of Home Depot.
Caleb, mister literal, arrived on his due date and Ruthie arrived 2 weeks early.
Sharon Amster Brown went to 42 weeks with Brandon.
Charmaine went to 37 weeks, and that was more than enough!.
Andi Joustra went to 39.5 weeks.
David Hillinger still waiting to deliver!
Love you,
Take care,
Your friends at Temple Israel
